Terry W. Pinson, M.D., FACS, FASMBS

It is with regret that we announce the closing of the Oxford Bariatric, General and Metabolic Surgery clinic.

All of our past bariatric surgical patients should continue their post-op (after surgery) care and follow-up with a bariatric surgical practice. All of our patients who are in the pre-op (before surgery) phase should continue to prepare for surgery and complete their insurance requirements. We have been working with bariatric surgeon Dr. Terry Pinson and the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Their bariatric program is:

North Mississippi Medical Center Bariatric Clinic
408 Council Circle, Suite C •Tupelo, Mississippi 38801
(662) 377-SLIM (7546) or (866) 908-9465 • Fax: (662) 377-6330

I feel confident in the professionalism of the North Mississippi Medical Center Bariatric Clinic's staff. I also feel assured of the competence and surgical expertise of Dr. Pinson. They have pledged to welcome both our post-op patients and our pre-op patients planning weight loss surgery to their bariatric program.

We recommend that your care be transferred to this program, but you have the option to choose any bariatric program.

A letter of additional information has been mailed to our active bariatric surgical patients.

Bariatric surgery has been my passion. and caring for you, our patients, has been a tremendous source of satisfaction over these last 34 years. Retiring is truly bittersweet. I look forward to the joy of spending more time with my wife and family. but I will miss the interaction and friendships of our many fine patients. We have been humbled and blessed by the success of our patients and seeing their lives changed for the better.

I have valued my relationship with you more than I can express in words. The staff and I thank you for your loyalty and for choosing Oxford Bariatric as your bariatric surgery program. It has been our honor and pleasure serving you. We extend our best wishes for your future health and happiness. May God bless.
